Premier League Transfer Window

Well the season is over and, with no major international tournament this summer, we have to make do with pointless friendly matches until the season kicks off again at the beginning of August. I know what you’re thinking, “how am I going to cope without my daily dose of football news?!?”. Fear not my Premier Leaguers, there is always the usual transfer window nonsense to keep us pinned to news feeds like NewsNow until then.

The Premier League transfer window is one of the most anticipated times of the year. The papers have an absolute field day with all the ‘will he, won’t he’ stories and teams that won’t be held to ransom over their prized assets. So when does it all kick off officially?

Well officially the Premier League transfer window opens at midnight on the last day of the season and stays open until August 31st.

So there you have it. The window is open now and slowly but surely the player moves will start kicking off. Of course the majority of signing won’t be made until the end of the window as teams panic buy and sellers test the nerve of buyers. Heres to another rumour-filled summer…
